2022 has been a year of creative discovery for LILA by Liv. I have explored new fabrics, tried many new designs and started expanding my horizons beyond this online platform. I have worked with some new and incredible people. It truly has been a beautiful year, full of many triumphs but also full of more challenging moments.
Running a creative business, in such a saturated market is hard. As a creative person, I quite often get caught up and lost in the opinions of others. I also get distracted by new shiny ideas and sometimes end up steering off track.
In 2023, I want to take more time and really perfect my design and production processes. I need to re-gain creative control and re-focus, so that I can make LILA by Liv the best it can be.
I am writing this to you, as I love keeping you all in the loop and I can't wait to share more of this journey with you.
Next year is going to look different. LILA will be taking a slightly slower approach to production, potentially with less releases. But, hopefully, it will mean that each release is more perfected and you all love the garments even more.
I am excited for this new transition, I feel that 2023 is going to be a major milestone year. I can't wait to curate this brand into being more than just clothing, LILA is going to be an inspiring place that leaves a creative legacy.
Thank you for your support, purchases and love over the last year. I ask that you please continue doing what you're doing, while LILA grows into something more. The truth is, I couldn't create this brand without you all.
